How have you used technology?
I have used a DSLR camera to take the images.this makes them better quality then using a consumer camera. I have used Photoshop to edit my photo.I have used the internet to search for stereotypical college magazines.
What have you learnt from this task?
When making my magazine I found that it was harder to make the magazine.The problems I encountered where actually finding an artist form my front cover.I have learnt to develop my skills in Photoshop to make my image better.I have learnt about how to make my color not clash using an online software called color wheel.
What conventions have you used and why?
I have used books and a 'educational' looking environment to make the magazine have more verisimilitude.I have used an artist that fits in the stereotype of college students.
What would you change if you were to do this task again?
I would make the image better.I would make the shot a mid shot and make sure the artist is the center of the magazine. I would also make sure that the lighting In the image better.
